What To Expect From The Veneers Process

Cosmetic consultation

Before you can get veneers, you’ll meet with Dr. Rouhani for an oral exam, and to discuss your options for cosmetic treatment in Houston. She will learn more about your smile goals, preferences, budget, and schedule. Together, you and Dr. Rouhani can determine if veneers are right for you.

Tooth prep and veneer fitting

If you’re approved, you’ll come back to Clio Dental Studio for a separate appointment. Dr. Rouhani will clean and numb your teeth, and then use a dental drill to remove a very thin layer of enamel from each tooth that’s getting a veneer. This is done to make sure your new veneers fit into your smile perfectly. Then, she will take a 3D scan of your mouth, attach a set of temporary veneers to your teeth, and send you home.

Crafting your new smile

Dr. Rouhani will use computer software and your 3D scan to design your new set of veneers. These will be sent to our dental lab partner. Here, your veneers will be built by an experienced technician. It usually takes about 2-3 weeks for your new veneers to be designed, built, and sent back to Clio Dental Studio. 

Final veneer placement

Once your new veneers arrive at our office, you’ll come back for one last visit with Dr. Rouhani. She will remove your temporaries, clean up your teeth, and then check the fit of your veneers to make sure it’s perfect. She’ll make any necessary last-minute adjustments, then bond each veneer into place with permanent dental cement. Then, Dr. Rouhani will polish your teeth to make sure your teeth look perfect and send you home to enjoy your new smile!
